• Maintenance:  Plant Village Green Zelkova in full sun, with at least six hours of direct sunlight a day. They need well-drained soil, but are quite adaptable to several different soil types. • General Information: The Zelkova serrata 'Village Green' is a deciduous tree that can grow to be 40–80 feet tall and wide. It has a vase-shaped crown, smooth gray bark that turns red-brown with age, and deep green leaves with saw-toothed edges. In the fall, the leaves turn rusty-red.
