• Maintenance: This lilac needs full sunshine, and you should place it in a spot with plenty of morning sun. If there is too much shade in your landscape, the lilac will produce leaves but no flowers. During the first year, the Miss Kim lilac requires a moderate amount of water.
• General Information: The Miss Kim lilac is a cultivar of lilac which was selected by Elwyn M. Meader while stationed in Korea as an army horticulturist. It was supposedly named after Elwyn M. Meader's Korean helper, whose name was Kim. The species is endemic to Korea and Northeast China.
