• Maintenance: The Evening Light Japanese Snowbell is very easy to grow in most any moist but well-drained soil of average fertility and full to mostly sun. Shade is tolerated but foliage color is best with at least 6 hours or more of direct sunlight per day.
• General Information: Broadleaf, deciduous small tree or a shrub, often multi-stemmed, with an upright, oval habit, to 15 ft tall and 10 ft wide (4.5 x 3 m). The leaves emerge purple-maroon, becoming maroon-green. The white petals of the typical bell-shaped flowers have maroon sepals (calyx).
